Valerie Noisette is an influential Haitian artist who exhibits her work internationally. I met her when I was working at Galerie D’Art Nader in Petion-Ville, Haiti. As a means of promotion, she needed a portfolio that highlighted and emphasized her work in digital and print formats. Collaborating virtually, I designed in Iowa as she provided photographs, copy, and critical feedback from Haiti. She wanted a design that harmonized with simplicity while at the same time exhibited the vibrant diversity in her work. Photographs needed extensive editing. Spotlighting elaborate details was key and various illustrative assets were created to emphasis those details. The final portfolio presents Valerie’s work and personality.
Valerie Noisette sends this portfolio internationally to galleries and sells them at exhibitions.
