statement

For many, a storefront seems like the gates to an improved life. The discount convenience store offers this potential to all consumers, rich or poor. Is this destiny truly manifest in these thresholds, or do they conceal empty promises and a future of servitude?

For this series I experiment with the tintype process and chemistry to delve into the notion of exploration and discovery. This technique lends itself to an atmosphere of other-worldliness.
