Biennially Washington University in St. Louis hosts a gallery exhibition titled Parabola featuring current graduate students work from throughout the university. I was tasked with developing a relevant theme and branding design for the exhibition, something that would confront contemporary issues and concepts. I worked closely with the university, staff, and students throughout the whole process, using feedback to guide each next step. Due to events of division and controversy in St. Louis at the time, the themes of fracture and social media culture were selected. The branding was designed to reflect contemporary societal fracturing, referencing the glitching of software and social media platforms.
